Model-turned-actress Kavya Shetty first ventured into cinema in 2013, making her debut with the Kannada movie Nam Duniya Nam Style. Prior to this, the Mangalorean belle had participated in several beauty pageants and appeared in commercials for brands like Reliance Jewels, Toyota and Malabar Gold. Since her debut, Kavya has appeared in leading and supporting roles in several Kannada movies and a handful of Tamil movies, notable among which are the Kollywood romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2015), Ishtakamya (2016) and Smile Please (2017). Other significant acting credits include Shivani (2014), the 2016 romantic comedy Zoom and the 2018 romantic drama 3 Gante 30 Dina 30 Second.
