Emmy Award-winning comedian and actor Kenan Thompson is best known for his work in the long-running sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, of which he has been a part since 2003. The longest-tenured cast member in the history of the 44- year-old show, Thompson has been nominated for multiple Primetime Emmys during his stint in SNL; eventually winning one for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics in 2018.
Besides his work in SNL, the actor has also appeared in popular tv shows like All That (1994-2005) and Kenan & Kel (1996-2000); while the teen buddy comedy Good Burger (1997), Fat Albert (2004), They Came Together (2014) and the heist comedy Going in Style (2017) are some of his notable movie credits. Thompson is also a seasoned voice actor, and has had voice roles in the films Space Chimps (2008), The Smurfs (2011), The Smurfs 2 (2013), Rock Dog (2016), The Grinch (2018) and Trolls World Tour (2020).
