Kenneth Cranham is a Scottish actor who has worked on the screen, the stage and even on radio. Cranham made his debut in the late 1960s and gained recognition with his role in the popular series Shine on Harvey Moon (1982 - 1985). Over the years he has starred in movies like Gangster No. 1 (2000), Layer Cake (2004), Closed Circuit (2013), Maleficent (2014),
Mr. Jones (2019) and
Official Secrets (2019). Cranham has also had an extensive career on stage, being cast in Broadway productions of plays like An Inspector Calls. He even won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role in Florian Zeller`s The Father (2016).
