A popular Indian TV personality, Ketki Dave is best known for portraying mostly comedic and supporting roles. The veteran actress who has been around in the Hindi TV industry more than 20 years has also starred in about 50 films across Gujarati and Hindi languages. Having started her career as a theater actress, she made her debut on the silver screen with Kissi Se Na Kehna in 1983. Her other notable Bollywood film credits include Dil (1990), Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet (1999), Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyaa (2001), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), I Hate Luv Storys (2010) and Sanam Re (2016). Her 2017 release include the Gujarati-language comedy drama Pappa Tamne Nahi Samjaay directed by Dharmesh Mehta. The actress who started her career on the small screen with the Hindi serial Hasratein (1996-97) rose to fame with her role as Daksha Virani in the popular family saga Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000-2008). She subsequently feature in series like Nach Baliye Season 2 (2006), a reality dance show, Big Boss 2 (2008) and Tamanna (2016). Apart from acting, the veteran also runs a Gujarati theater company with her husband Rasik Dave.
