An Oxford graduate, Kevin Cecil is a British screenwriter and producer, known for films such as Veep (2012), Gnomeo & Juliet (2011) and Slacker Cats (2007).
He has also written for TV shows such as The Armando Iannucci Shows, Armstrong & Miller, Little Britain, Trigger Happy TV, So Graham Norton, Smack the Pony and Spitting Image. He is also the co-creator of radio series The 99p Challenge.
He has written for various projects alongside Andy Riley. He co-wrote comic relief Robbie the Reindeer (2000) and Black Books (2005), both of which won him BAFTA award. He also won an International Emmy for Best Children's Programme for Robbie the Reindeer in Legend of the Lost Tribe.
He has worked for various feature films Gnomeo and Juliet, The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists, The Corpse Bride and Sherlocks Gnomes.
