Kevin Robert McNally is an English film, television and stage actor and writer, who began his career by performing in several stage productions like The Lady in the Van, Naked and Terry Johnson's Dead Funny. He next switched to television, where he acted in shows like I, Claudius (1976), Masada (1981) and the famous Doctor Who: The Twin Dilemma (1984). His television performances brought him into the limelight as he came to be known as a talented actor with the ability to essay versatile roles. McNally made his film debut with The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977 and is best known for his role of Gibbs in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. He was a part of the 2016 film, The Man Who Knew Infinity, along with Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons. McNally’s 2017 release includes the fifth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series-Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge. Directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, the movie co-stars Johnny Depp, Brenton Thwaites, Kaya Scodelario, Javier Bardem, and Orlando Bloom in pivotal roles.
