Ranjith is an Indian playback singer who originally hails from Kerala and he is very famous for his songs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam. He became popular when he won the Sun TV Saptha Swarangal singing contest in 2001. Ranjith made a debut into playback singing with the song''Adugu Adugu'' from the movie Bobby along with Hariharan which was released in the year 2002. He also performed in Singapore for the mega-hit variety programme, Jillunu Oru Maalai, produced by Megastar Productions.
