A writer and director, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is noted for her work mainly in Tamil cinema. Having started her career as a writer and director of a short film titled Uyir....Uravu...Unmai (2010), Kiruthiga rose to fame with her maiden directorial venture Vanakkam Chennai (2013). Her other notable film credits include Kaasi (2018), a Telugu action drama featuring Vijay Anthony, Anjali, and Sunainaa in important roles.
