Kishore Moodbidri forayed into Tulu and Kannada cinema as an assistant director, working with veteran directors like Vemagal Jagannath Rao early on in his career. Subsequently, the young filmmaker served as an associate in hit Tulu movies like Chaali Polilu (2014), Chandi Kori (2015), Dabak Daba Aisa (2016) and Rang Rangda Dibbana (2017) before making his independent directorial debut with Appe Teacher (2018). Besides these, Kishore has also been associated with the making of a number of popular TV serials and Konkani movies. His 2020 release includes Malgudi Days, directed by Kishore Moodbidri.
