About
An Australian actor, Kodi Smit-McPhee is well-known in Hollywood for his impeccable acting skills as well as his versatility in doing justice to the roles he picks. The young actor made his feature film debut with the film Romulus, My Father, based on a biographical memoir written in 1998 by Australian philosopher Raimond Gaita. His exceptional acting in the film gained him an AFI Award for Best Young Actor as well as a Best Actor nomination in 2007.

He then appeared in The Road (2009), and moved on to Let Me In (2010), The Congress (2012), lent his voice to ParaNorman (2012). It was not long before McPhee starred in one of the most popular franchises The Dawn of The Planet of the Apes in 2014, after which he was cast to play Nightcrawler in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). His 2018 project includes Alpha, where he plays the lead role.
