Kranti Redkar is a well-known Marathi film, television and stage actor, who debuted in Marathi cinema with the 2000 movie Soon Asavi Ashi, opposite Ankush Choudhary. She went on to play the role of Apoorva Kumari, the kidnapped girl, in the 2003 Bollywood film Gangaajal. Active predominantly in Marathi cinema, her most popular movies include Jatra: Hyalagaad Re Tyalagaad, Shahanpan Dega Deva, Kho-Kho, Pipani, Murder Mestri, and Yudh. She made her directorial debut in 2015 with the Marathi movie Kaakan. Her 2017 acting project includes the Marathi feature film Karaar, under the direction of Manoj Kotian, opposite Subodh Bhave and Urmila Kothare. In 2018, she appeared alongside Makarand Deshpande and Aditi Pohankar in Pramod Pawar`s Marathi drama Truckbhar Swapna.
