Krishna Marimuthu entered the movie business as an assistant director to the 2012 Tamil movie Thaandavam, which was directed by A. L. Vijay. He then went on to be associated with the 2013 Vijay-starrer Tamil movie Thalaivaa as an assistant director. He marked his entry into the Telugu film industry as the director of the action thriller film Yuddham Sharanam starring Naga Chaitanya and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles along with Srikanth in a significant role. Not only this, Krishna is also the screenplay writer for Yuddham Sharanam. His 2020 release includes Dharala Prabhu.
