A graphic designer-turned-lyricist, Kunaal Verma is known for his work in Bollywood. His passion for writing began when he was in college and later with the help of able mentors, Kunaal manifested his passion into a profession. Born in a Rajasthani family, he is also one of the founders of `Songster.in`.

With a credit of over 500 songs, Kunaal is well versed of ghazals as well and has a strong command over Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu languages. He has written songs for movies such as Aashiqui 2 (2013), Tum Mile Toh (2014), and Hamari Adhuri Kahani (2015). In 2016, he composed and wrote the songs for the Rajasthani movie Pagdi (2016) Kunal also contributed as a playback singer for the movie. His 2017 release as a lyricist includes the movie Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana (2017) starring Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda.
