Pappu was a popular theatre artist and Malayalam comedian actor who has acted in over a thousand Malayalam films like Angadi, Eenadu, Moorkhan, Aalkkottathil Thaniye, Itha Oru Theeram, Kanakkinavu etc. Known for his Kozhikodan dialect, his one-liners earned their position in the list of Malayalam idioms. His first noted role was in Bhargavi Nilayam. He founded Akshara Theatres a few weeks before his death. Pappu became one of the best comedians Malayalam cinema has ever seen.
