Kym Barrett is an Australian costume designer who works predominantly in Hollywood. A huge name in the industry, Barrett started her journey in the industry as a costume designer for the 1996 film Romeo+Juliet. Her designs gained widespread recognition in the film, and she soon became associated with big productions. She became associated with The Matrix (1999), and there was no looking back. She collaborated frequently with the sibling directors Lana & Andy Wachowski and designed costumes for The Matrix Reloaded (2003), The Matrix Revolutions (2003), and Jupiter Ascending (2015). Her other prominent work as costume designer includes Three Kings (1999), Titan A.E. (2000), Gothika (2003), Speed Racer (2008), The Green Hornet (2011), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) and Aquaman (2018). Apart from films, Kym is also closely associated with theatre and has designed costumes for Cirque du Soleil as well. As of 2019, Barrett is associated with the costume designing for Charlie`s Angels.
