Laila, born on October 24, 1980, is an Indian actress who has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi films. She made her debut with the Telugu film Yegire Pavurama after which she worked in Tamil movies. Despite being a superstar, she did not return to the film industry after her marriage to Iranian businessman Mehdi in 2006.
