About
A self-taught cinematographer with an impressive repertoire of films to his credit, Larry Fong is best known for his association with filmmaker Zack Snyder. He started out professionally by filming music videos, which was followed by a foray into the world of television. It was Fong's work in the pilot for popular television drama series Lost (2004-'10) that marked a turning point in his career. He was nominated for an ASC Award for the same, and subsequently collaborated for the first time with Zack Snyder in the epic war film 300 (2006).

Since then, Fong has helmed the camera department in several of Snyder's movies, among which are the superhero film Watchmen (2009), the action thriller Sucker Punch (2011) and the superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Besides these, the cinematographer has also associated with J.J. Abrams for the sci-fi thriller Super 8 (2011). Other significant film credits include the heist thriller Now You See Me (2013), Kong: Skull Island (2017) and the sci-fi action film The Predator (2018).
