The younger brother of iconic comic-book writer Stan Lee, Larry Lieber is a venerated writer, penciller and editor well-known for his association with Marvel Comics. He is the co-creator of some of the most beloved superheroes of our times - Iron Man, Thor and Ant-Man to name a few. Besides these, he has also illustrated the popular newspaper comic strip The Amazing Spider-Man for several decades, served as the editor of Atlas Comics in the 1970s; and written and drawn for the Western Rawhide Kid.
For his contributions to the world of comics, Lieber was honoured with an Inkpot Award in 2003, and a Bill Finger Award in 2008. Several of Lieber's pioneering works in the comicsverse eventually led to the inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) decades later, in 2008.
