Lauren Shuler Donner is an American film producer. In a career spanning close to four decades, she has produced over 40 films, and is perhaps best known for her association with the X-Men film franchise. Donner started out as an associate producer in the 1978 musical comedy Thank God It`s Friday, while the 1983 comedy film Mr. Mum marked her feature film debut as an independent producer. Some of her best known film credits besides the X-Men franchise include Pretty in Pink (1986), Free Willy (1993), the romantic comedy-drama You`ve Got Mail (1998) and Constantine (2005). Besides these, Donner has also served as an executive producer on television shows like The Gifted and Legion. Other significant feature film credits include She`s the Man (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Logan (2017) and Deadpool 2 (2018).
