Laxman Kagne is an Indian film producer best known for his work in the Marathi film industry. In 2016, he produced the two critically acclaimed movies 31st October and Halal, which won the Best Film on Social Issues Award at the 53rd Maharashtra State Film Awards. The movie Halal was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival and received a theatrical release in India in October 2017. His 2018 release includes Lathe Joshi, directed by Mangesh Joshi.
