Lee Isaac Chung is an American film director and writer. He made his feature film debut as a director with Munyurangabo (2007), which premiered at Cannes Film Festival. His 2021 release, Minari, won the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film and received several nominations at the 93rd Academy Awards.

  • Production of Twisters (2024) was to take place in and around Los Angeles but director Lee Isaac Chung insisted that it should be shot on location in Oklahoma. Interior sets were shot at Prairie Surf Studios in downtown Oklahoma City, which was also housing Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) and Tulsa King (2022) at the same time.
