Leo K. Kuter (Kuter) a.k.a. Leo Edwin Kuter was an American art film director, born on February 21, 1897 in Shannon, Illinois, United States. He was married to Evelyn Edler in 1925 and had two children, one son, television and film actor Kay E. Kuter, and one daughter, Jeane Kuter Harvey. Kuter began his career as a draftsman for Famous Players-Lasky in 1920. He was signed by the Warner Brothers in 1933 and got highlighted for his work. He died on August 10, 1970 of cancer in Laguna Beach, California, United States. He was most known for designing the RKO logo (Radio Tower astride the Globe). Some of his art works are Three on a Couch (1966), The Steel Jungle (1956), Drum Beat (1954), etc.
