Veteran American television and film actor Leon Russom is best known for his Emmy-nominated performance in the tv drama miniseries Long Road Home (1991), and his minor roles in Coen Brothers films like The Big Lebowski (1998) and True Grit (2010). He started out on television in the late-1960s, and has since appeared in over eighty tv shows and twenty-five feature films in the course of a career spanning close to five decades.

The sci-fi drama Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the procedural drama Bones and the crime drama Prison Break are among Russom's significant tv credits. Notable movie credits include Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991), the war film Behind Enemy Lines (2001), the mystery comedy Fuzz Track City (2012) and the horror thriller A Quiet Place (2018).
