Leonilla was born in Mangalore, Karnataka, India. She completed her schooling in Mangalore and B.E in Bangalore. She worked as a software engineer for Accenture. Acting and sports has been her passion. She is seen as a female lead in a movie called The Y which is her debut. She has won several state awards in dance and represented the Karnataka volleyball girls team.
