Lester Cole was an American screenwriter who started his career in 1932 and was blacklisted under Anti-American Activities Committee in 1947. He started writing and writing plays at the age of sixteen and his works include Hollywood on Trial, The Romance of Rosy Ridge, None Shall Escape and Fiesta. His autobiography was titled “Hollywood Red”.
