A veteran American TV and film actress, Linda Shaye, better known for her screen name, Lin Shaye is regarded as `scream queen` because of her various roles in horror films. Sahye, who studied acting the University of Michigan, after completing her studies, moved to New York to appear in the Off-Broadway production in 1977, before eventually moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Shaye, made her debut on the silver screen with a small role in Hester Street in 1975 and over the years, in her illustrious career, Shaye starred in more than 50 features film and 40 series` and along the way won several awards including Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actress and Method Fest Independent Film Festival Award for Best Supporting Actress. Some of her most notable film credits include A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Critters 2: The Main Course (1988), Dumb & Dumber (1994), A Cinderella Story (2004), Bachelor Party Vegas (2006), Insidious (2011),
Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and Insidious: The Last Key (2018). Her 2020 release includes
