Linda Hamilton is an American actress, popularly known for essaying the role of Sarah Connor in the Terminator film series: she appeared in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which was released in 1991. The movie was re-released in 4K and 3D in August 2017. However, Hamilton, who made her acting debut in 1981, had already gained recognition for her role on the TV series - Beauty and the Beast Series (1987 - 90): winning several awards for her performance. She was even nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a TV-Series - Drama at the Golden Globe Awards for two consecutive years - 1988 and 1989. Hamilton has also appeared in movies such as Silent Fall (1994), Shadow Conspiracy (1997), Smile (2005), and Broken (2006).
