Most popular for essaying the role of Indiana Jones' father in the television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles in 1992-1993, Lloyd Owen is an English actor, who works in both the film industry as well as theatre. Being the son of the popular actor Glyn Owen, he went straight to the National Youth Theatre after school at the tender age of 16. Not too keen on performing in plays at first, Owen was praised for his acting prowess by his faculty and peers, after which he started taking the craft a bit more seriously. After his big break in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, he starred in popular series' like Monarch of the Glen (2002-2005) and The Innocence Project (2006-2007), of which the latter was pulled because of poor reviews. His other notable acting credits include Miss Potter (2006), Apollo 18 (2011), Free Ride (2013), and The Man with the Iron Heart (2017). As of 2018, he is making his Bollywood debut in a negative role in Thugs Of Hindostan.
