Lokesh Kanagaraj is an Indian film director and writer who predominantly works in the Tamil film industry. He began his career with Aviyal (2016), an anthology film that consists of four short films. In 2017, Lokesh made his feature film debut with the action-thriller movie Maanagaram. His next directorial venture came in the following year with Kaithi, that stars Karthi and Narain in pivotal roles. Lokesh`s 2021 release includes Master starring Joseph Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. Vikram (2022), his next directorial venture was produced by and starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil.
