Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Loren Dean is an American actor who has appeared in feature films and on stage. Dean graduated from Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California, in 1986. Since an early age, he wanted to be an actor, so he moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. After a couple of years of struggle, Loren`s friend introduced him to an agent and soon he was seen performing in stage plays in New York.

Loren Dean won a Theatre World Award in 1989 for his Off-Broadway debut in the play Amulets Against the Dragon Forces at the Circle Repertory Company. Loren`s recent project includes the film, Ad Astra.
