Best known for his association with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Louis D`Esposito started out in Hollywood as an associate producer in the buddy comedy movie Another You (1991). In the years that followed, he worked in movies like Basic Instinct (1992), Zathura: A Space Adventure (2005) and the The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) before eventually serving as an executive producer in the superhero film Iron Man (2008).

The immense success of the Robert Downey Jr. starrer marked the inception of the multi-billion dollar franchise that is MCU, and D`Esposito has since served as an executive producer on every film in the franchise. Notable among these are The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Doctor Strange (2016), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) and Captain Marvel (2019).
