Louis Malle was a Frenchfilm director,screenwriter, anda producer, best known for his films, including Au Revoir Les Enfants, Lift to the Scaffold, Atlantic City and Lacombe, Lucien. Malle style of film making is noted for their emotional realism and stylistic simplicity. After his film studies, Louis Malle worked as an assistant to filmmaker Robert Bresson and made his first feature film,Ascenseur pour l'échafaud in 1958.
