Serving as an assistant director to Dayal Padmanabhan on several movies, M. M. Muthu is an Indian director, who works in the Kannada film industry. He made his debut in the industry with Dayal Padmanabhan's 2004 movie, Baa Baro Rasika. Since then Muthu has served as an assistant and associate director on movies like Masala (2005), Manasugala Mathu Madhura (2008), Devru (2009), Circus (2009), Sri Harikathe (2010), Rangappa Hogbitna (2011), Kal Manja (2011), and Radhana Ganda (2013). Muthu made his directorial debut in 2018 with the romantic-drama, Preethiya Raayabhari. The movie which is based on real life incidents has Nakul Gowda and Sukruta Deshpande in the lead. The rest of the cast includes seasoned actors like Charan Raj, Padmaja Rao, Sadhu Kokila, and Suchendra Prasad in pivotal roles.
