Musician, film score composer and lyricist Sanjeev Rao is primarily known for his work in Kannada cinema. He started out in theatre in the early 2000s, and subsequently made his Sandalwood debut as a music director for the romantic drama Ishta (2011). Rao has since scored the music for several movies, notable among which are the thriller Jasmine 5 (2014), Lock (2019), 9 Dhinagalu (2019) and Majjige Huli (2019).
