Madhu Ambat is an Indian cinematographer from Kerala, India. He is considered one of the most renowned cinematographers in Indian cinema. Some of his notable films include Amaram (1991), Anjali (1990), Makaramanju (2010), Namma Gramam (2014) and Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam (2008). Ambat has won several awards including National Film Award for Best Cinematography in Adi Sankaracharya (1984), Sringaram (2006) and Adaminte Makan Abu (2011).
