A Sri Lankan-born Indian actress, model and TV host, Madhumila is known for her work in the Tamil film industry. The actress who started her career as an anchor on Makkal TV, moved to acting with the TV series Office (2013-14), which won her the Vijay Television Awards for Favorite Find. Her success in the TV industry paved the way for her entry on the big screen and she made her acting debut in a film with Poojai (2014) starring Vishal and Shruti Haasan. A few of her other popular films include Romeo Juliet (2015), Mapla Singam (2016) and Senjittale En Kadhala (2017), a Tamil drama directed by Ezhil Durai.
