Mahesh Muthuswami is an Indian cinematographer, who works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. He graduated from Film and Television Institute of India and started his career as cinematographer. His diploma short film Chaitra was the official student Oscar entry in the year 2002. He made his debut in Bhuvana`s Rightaa Thappaa. He received Best Cinematographer Award 2010 for the film Nandalala from the Tamil magazine Ananda Vikatan. Some of the films he was associated with includes Chithiram Pesuthadi, Anjaathey, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, and Mouna Guru. His other releases include Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal (2017), Bongu (2017), Oru Kuppai Kathai (2017) and Kaatrin Mozhi (2018). His 2021 release includes Malaysia To Amnesia.
