Mahesh is an Indian film actor who works primarily in the Malayalam film industry. After working with J. Sasikumar as an assistant director for several years, Mahesh made his acting debut in the Bollywood movie, Jaal (1986). In 1989 he made his Malayalam acting debut with Sibi Malayil`s 1989 movie Mudra. He went on to act in movies like Mrigaya (1989), News (1989), Cheppu Kilukkunna Changathi (1991), Sadayam (1992), Tom & Jerry (1995), Oral Mathram (1997) and Irattakuttikalude Achan (1997), before taking a sabbatical from movies. Mahesh returned in 2009 to direct the Prithviraj starrer Calendar. He got back to acting with movies like Swargathekkal Sundaram (2015), Marubhoomiyile Aana (2016), Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2016) and Honey Bee 2: Celebrations (2017). In 2017 Mahesh stars in Anzar Khan`s Lakshyam, along with Indrajith Sukumaran, Biju Menon, Sshivada and Shammi Thilakan.
