Makrand Deshpande is a Hindustani classical vocalist, composer, playback singer, theatre artist, and sculptor. Makrand has learned under the tutelage of Shri. Narayanrao Deshpande and Shri Dhananjay Hegde. He has also given playback for Marathi movies such as Samhita and Siddhant Samhita has been awarded National awards for best film and best music. He also has traveled at various prestigious film festivals all over the world. He completed his graduation (B.F.A.) from Sir J.J.School of Arts with a specialization in sculpture. He has been working consistently in the industry for last 18 years.

Makrand is the director of Palette - The Art Institute and Aaroh Music Academy.
