Early Life:
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Manasi finished her Bachelors in Mass Media from Wilson College, and decided to further her acting skills. Manasi has been creatively inclined since she was a young child, and got her break in Manav Kaul`s musical play, Aise Kehte Hain. She played the role of a young Sardar boy in this play and was noted for her performance. Her next performance was again in Manav Kaul`s, Bali aur Shambu, where she played the role of Titli. Though she has starred in several famous commercials, Manasi always wanted to return to proper acting roles and even starred in plays such as Rabindranath Tagore`s, Walking to the Sun, for which she earned a lot of critical acclaim.

Career Highlights:
Manasi`s big break came in the form of 2011`s, Mujhse Fraaanadship Karoge, where she portrayed the role of the fierce Neha. This caught the eye of Director Karan Johar, who auditioned her for the role of Shruthi Pathak, and won the role alongside other debutantes like Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra. Manasi continues to act in plays and will soon be seen in Raju Raja Ram Aur Main. She will also play the role of Meena in the upcoming film, Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein, which is set for release in 2015.

Little Known Facts:
