About
Having no experience in acting, Delhi-born Manjot Singh traveled to Arvinder to audition for Dibakar Banerjee`s Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! To much of his disappointment, Manjot was rejected by the casting director, however, Dibakar Banerjee was convinced that the role of younger Lucky (Abhay Deol essayed the titular role) was to be given to Manjot.

Following this, Manjot traveled to Manali to attend a week-long acting workshop in order to learn the mannerisms of Abhay Deol. After the movie released, Manjot went on to win the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor and was highly appreciated for his performance.

In 2010, he participated in the third season of the reality show Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 3. Subsequently, he starred in films such as Udaan (2010), Student of the Year (2012), and Fukrey (2013). The actor made his Punjabi film debut in 2012 with the movie Pure Punjabi. In 2017, he appeared in the sequel to his 2013 movie Fukrey, Fukrey Returns. His 2019 releases include Sonchiriya and Dream Girl.
