Maria Sorte is a Mexican actress and singer who is best known for Zona Roja (1976), Los triunfadores (1978),
El Barrendero (1982) and Siete anos de matrimonio (2013).
With her husband, Javier Garcia Paniagua (a politician), she has two sons - Omar and Adrian. Javier died of a heart attack. Omar Garcia Harfuch is the Chief of Police in Mexico City. She has six grandchildren.
