Marc Daniels was an American television director and producer. He was appointed by CBS to direct its first dramatic program, The Ford Theatre Hour in 1948 and his first major breakthrough was in Star Trek in 1966. Daniels worked in more than hundred movies Alice, I Love Lucy and Marcus Welby, M.D. He died of heart failure on 1989 in California at the age of 77.
