Known for films Bridge of Spies (2015), The Girl on the Train (2016), and La La Land (2016), Marc Platt is an American film, TV and theatre producer, primarily working in Hollywood. He started in theatre, where he produced a few Broadway hit musical, including Wicked (2008) and Pal Joey (2008), a collaboration with Roundabout Theatre Company.

Platt, the, moved into films and severed as president of the production for three big film productions studios: TriStar Pictures, Orion Pictures, and Universal Studios. He has produced TV series like MDs (2002), Empire Falls (2005), The Wonderful World of Disney (2005), The Path to 9/11 (2006) and Taking the Stage (2010).

He is also the owner of a production company, Marc Platt Productions.
