Mark Bomback is an American screenwriter who made his writing debut with the 1998 thriller film The Night Caller directed by Robert Malenfant. He has written several successful Hollywood movies such as Live Free or Die Hard (2007), Deception (2008), Unstoppable (2010), The Wolverine (2013), Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014). His 2017 release includes the sequel to the Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, War for the Planet of the Apes, which stars Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, Karin Konoval, Judy Greer and Terry Notary in the lead.
