Best known for producing the horror franchise, Saw (2004-2017), Mark Burg is an American film producer, actor and manager. In 1998 he found Evolution Entertainment with Oren Koules and in 2004 he formed Twisted Pictures with Oren Koules and Gregg Hoffman. He made his film debut as co-producer on the romantic-comedy, Can`t Buy Me Love in 1987. Before being the founding member of Evolution Entertainment and Twisted Pictures, Burg was the President of Island Pictures and produced movies like Strictly Business (1991), The Sandlot (1993), The Cure (1995), and Basketball Diaries (1995). Since joining hands with Oren Koules, they have produced movies like Lockdown (2000), Good Advice (2001), Run Ronnie Run (2002), John Q (2002), Saw (2004), Saw II (2005), Saw III (2006), Dead Silence (2007), Saw IV (2007), Repo! The Genetic Opera (2008), Saw V (2008), Saw VI (2009), Saw 3D: The Final Chapter (2010), Grace Unplugged (2013), and Havenhurst (2016). Burg has also produced TV shows like The Casino (2004), Love, Inc. (2005-2006), Vlog (2008), Two and a Half Men (2003-2015), Anger Management (2012-2014), and Loudermilk (2017). Burg has won the ShoWest Awards, People`s Choice Awards, and has been nominated for three Emmy Awards. He is also in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Most Successful Horror Movie Franchise.

In 2018 Burg served as the producer on director-duo Michael and Peter Spierig`s mystery-horror, Jigsaw, the eighth movie in the Saw series. The cast includes Tobin Bell, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Laura Vandervoort and Hannah Emily Anderson in important roles. His 2019 release includes The Intruder.
