Hailing from the UK, Mark Hamilton is a British cinematographer. He started his career in 1993 when he worked in the camera department for the documentary As It Happened - The Killing of Kennedy, which went on to win a BAFTA. He did so while his education was still ongoing, and in 1997, the year of his graduation, he assisted with the historic live address by the Queen of the United Kingdoms, post the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Following that, he progressed to a television lighting cameraman and worked on several shows for the BBC and Channel 4.
While working on advertisement promos for companies including the likes of Adidas and British Airways, he established himself as a Director of Photography. His debut feature film was Capital Punishment (2003), directed by Adrian Vitoria with whom he continued to do movies like The Crew (2008) and Age of Heroes (2011). He has also helmed several features and short film projects as a director and even won awards for the same. His 2019 releases include
