Best known for making comics-based films like Ghost Rider and Daredevil, Mark Steven Johnson is an American screenwriter, film director and producer. An alumnus of the California State University, Long Beach, Johnson made his debut as a writer with Grumpy Old Men in 1993. Over the years, he has written and directed about 15 films. Following his debut he later wrote for films like Big Bully (1996), before eventually making his debut as a director with Simon Birch (1998). His other notable writing credits include Daredevil (2003), Ghost Rider (2007), and Christopher Robin (2018), an animation adventure comedy directed by Marc Foster.
