A four-time Nandi award-winning editor Martand K Venkatesh was introduced to the industry through his father K. A. Marthand, who was a noted film editor himself. Starting out with assisting his father with various projects, he made his debut with the Telugu film Allari Premikudu in 1994. He has many hit films to his credit in the last two decades which include films like Lakshmi Narasimha (2004), Mass (2004), Bhadra (2005), Boss - I Love You (2006), Arya 2 (2010), Shakti (2011), Fidaa (2017), Sammohanam (2018) and Geetha Govindam (2018). His 2019 release includes Krishna Rao Supermarket, directed by Sreenath Pulakuram. His other projects include Poster (2021).
