Starting his career with short films, Martin Gschlacht, an Austrian cinematographer has now made quite a name for himself in the film industry. The recipient of the European Film Award in 2015, Gschlacht started his career in 1992 with a short film Sushi. He has since been a part of films of varying genres like Ratrace (1998), Evil Cells (2003), Zarin (2005), Slumming (2006), Never at the seaside (2007), Women Without Men (2009), and Looking for Oum Kulthum (2017), among others. He also co-founded a Viennese film production company coop99. His 2018 project includes Alpha.
